A new event series hosted by BREDA Studio will allow you to learn unique skills taught by masters of their craft. Learn Dj & Production essentials with artists DJ Sober & Sudie.
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of DJ-ing and production along with basic beat matching, mixing and scratching.
• DJ Sober - Dallas would sound a whole lot different if not for DJ Sober.The deejay, producer and illustrator has left an indelible mark on the city’s music scene over the last decade. Along the way, he’s held down gigs spinning at Cowboys and FC Dallas games, spun private affairs for heavy hitters Erykah Badu and Dirk Nowitzki, and toured the country as the former DJ for rap group A.Dd+.
• Sudie - Merging classical training with a unique DIY recording process, Sudie is an artist who’s truly forging her own territory. Sudie has been featured on the cover of the Dallas Observer and featured in D Magazine and Austere Magazine. She has performed numerous shows and festivals, including opening for Empress Of.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early and check in at the front of the studio. Parking is free in front of the studio. All materials are included in the workshop.
